Eagle’s Nest, named after the majestic Himalayan Black Eagle, native to the region, is a three-acre sanctuary that packs in wild orchids, fruit trees and a private forest dotted with walkways.

The homestay has a mix of cozy bedrooms and large suites, four of which are housed in an independent cottage a few yards from the main house where the family resides. The rooms are comfortably appointed with glorious views of lush forests and the snowcapped Kanchenjunga range.

Under Madhuri (owner and a very generous host), Eagle’s Nest presents the gold standard for hospitality. 
Good conversation (with none other than the Sikkimese Sniper, Mr. Bhaichung Bhutia, if you are lucky/he is free and around), sumptuous food, lovely surroundings, and still if you crave for more-
Kangchenjunga, you can see from anywhere in the property, including from your bed when you wake up!

The most memorable part of our trip to Sikkim was this home stay..we had the warmest welcome Bhaichung Bhutia Sir… Followed by a beautiful hike the next day..love the rooms .. absolutely immaculate… The staff is so warm… And helpful… flexible to your needs… My kid was slightly unwell … They came immediately came to rescue with home made medicine and khichdi…just loved our experience… The best home stay we have ever stayed! …read more
